Founder & Director of Player Development

Marko Efstratiou brings a lifetime of playing and coaching experience to Supernova Soccer Academy. Growing up in New Jersey, Marko competed in some of the country’s strongest youth soccer environments, including time with PDA, the New York Red Bulls program, and the Olympic Development Program (ODP).
 

He continued playing at the collegiate level before spending time in Greece with several professional soccer clubs. Those experiences exposed him to different styles of play, coaching philosophies, and approaches to individual player development.
 

Today, Marko serves as President of Little Miami FC and coaches competitive youth teams, with additional experience coaching at the high school level.
 

Marko founded Supernova Soccer Academy to provide players with the type of focused development that can be difficult to receive during normal team training. His approach emphasizes technical ability, position-specific understanding, decision-making, movement, and game-realistic repetition—helping players better understand not only how to execute a skill, but when and why to use it.

Supernova is built around a simple idea: train with purpose and develop skills that translate directly to the game.
